Abstract

According to news reporting out of Beijing, Peopl e’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Zn-Cu alloys have at tracted great attention as biodegradable alloys owing to their excellent mechani cal properties and biocompatibility, with corrosion characteristics being crucia l for their suitability for biomedical applications. However, the unresolved ide ntification of intermetallic compounds in Zn-Cu alloys affecting corrosion and t he complexity of the application environment hamper the understanding of their e lectrochemical behavior.”
