Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “This specification relates to robotics, and more particularly to robot programming. “Robot programming refers to determining the physical movements of robots in ord er to perform tasks. For example, an industrial robot that builds cars can be pr ogrammed to first pick up a car part and then weld the car part onto the frame o f the car. Each of these actions can themselves include dozens or hundreds of in dividual movements by robot motors and actuators.
