According to news originating from Warsaw, Poland, by NewsRx co rrespondents, research stated, “We introduce FLAME, a machinelearning algorithm designed to fit Voigt profiles to H I Lyman-alpha (Ly alpha) absorption lines u sing deep convolutional neural networks. FLAME integrates two algorithms: the fi rst determines the number of components required to fit Ly alpha absorption line s, and the second calculates the Doppler parameterb, the H I column density NHI , and the velocity separation of individual components.”
