By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – From Washington, D.C., NewsRx journali sts report that a patent application by the inventors KANG, Seokhyun (Suwon-si, KR); KIM, Jinhee (Suwon-si, KR); LEE, Donghun (Suwon-si, KR); RYU, Minwoo (Suwon -si, KR); YOON, Sangsik (Suwon-si, KR), filed on April 29, 2024, was made availa ble online on August 29, 2024. No assignee for this patent application has been made. News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors: “ “The disclosure relates to a moving robot and a method for controlling the same. “In general, robots have been developed for industrial use and have played a par t in factory automation. In recent years, broadened applications of robots are l eading to development of medical and aerospace robots, and even robots for home use. A moving robot is a representative home robot. Moving robots may move on th eir own to perform a purported operation. Moving robots include, e.g., cleaning robots or assistant robots. Moving robots travel on a floor or a road on their o wn without a user’s manual control.
