By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Current study results on Robotics have been published. According to news reporting from Montreal, Canada, by NewsRx jo urnalists, research stated, “Inflatable multistable materials have significantly advanced the design of shape-preserving soft robotic arms, offering substantial benefits in terms of shape adaptability, energy efficiency, and safety, ensurin g operational reliability even in the event of sudden power loss. However, exist ing strategies for realizing multistable arms often limit themselves to a single mode of multistability, commonly with rotationally symmetric designs favoring e xtension stability and asymmetric designs inducing bending stability.” Financial supporters for this research include Canada Research Chairs, Natural S ciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), Canada Foundation fo r Innovation, New Frontiers in Research Fund - Exploration, Quebec Research Fund - Nature and Technologies (FRQNT), McGill University.
