Abstract

According to news reporting originating from Shenyang, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Many control alg orithms for formation of robot swarms are often inspired by animal swarms. Howev er, these algorithms require robots having sensing and computational capabilitie s and are not applicable to robot swarms working in extreme environments, such a s at micro/nanoscale and in space.” Funders for this research include National Natural Science Foundation of China ( NSFC), Open Fund Project of the Collective Intelligence and Collaboration Labora tory.
