According to news originating from Zhengzhou, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “This stu dy aimed to screen out the differential metabolites between Taigu yam and Tiegun yam by metabolomics approach, and determine differential markers for predicting different yam varieties through the east absolute shrinkage and selection opera tor (LASSO) regression method. Ultra-performance liquid chromatographyquadrupol e time of flight tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS) was employed to ana lyze metabolites in two types of yams.”
