According to news reporting originating in Ma’anshan, Peo ple’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, the research stated, “PurposeThis st udy aims to address the issues of limited pipe diameter adaptability and low ins pection efficiency of current pipeline inspection robots, A geometric model of the position relationship s of the hinge points was established based on the two extreme positions of the diameterchanging mechanism.FindingsA pipeline inspection robot was designed usi ng a simple linkage agency, which significantly reduced the weight of the robot and enhanced its adaptive pipe diameter ability.” Funders for this research include Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province, Open Project of China International Science and Technology Cooperation Base on I ntelligent Equipment Manufacturing in Special Service Environment, Open Project of Anhui Province Engineering Laboratory of Intelligent Demolition Equipment.
