By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News – Investigators discuss new findings in robotics. A ccording to news reporting out of Yangzhou, People’s Republic of China, by NewsR x editors, research stated, “Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) enable s mobile robots to autonomously perform localization and mapping tasks in unknow n environments. Despite significant progress achieved by visual SLAM systems in ideal conditions, relying solely on a single robot and point features for mappin g in large-scale indoor environments with weak-texture structures can affect map ping efficiency and accuracy.”
