Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “BACKGROUND OF THE ART “It is generally known to have robot systems which are modular, reconfigurable a nd expandable to thus improve the flexibility and versatility thereof. For examp le, a manipulator arm of the robot system may be formed of a number of independe nt rotary modules releasably connected to each other. The manipulator arm may be disassembled and reassembled in order to obtain different arm configurations. A motor having a drive shaft may drive one module relative to another for pivotin g the modules relative to each other.
