News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors: “The present disclosure relates generally to amusement park -style rides/attractions, and more specifically to systems and methods for track ing, predicting, and/or utilizing head and/or eye movement in amusement park-sty le rides/attractions. “Various amusement rides have been created to provide passengers with unique mot ion and visual experiences. For example, theme rides can be implemented with sin gle-passenger or multi-passenger ride vehicles that travel along a fixed or vari able path. Ride vehicles themselves may include features providing passengers wi th varying levels of control (e.g., various buttons and knobs) over the ride veh icle and/or surrounding environment. However, traditional controls given to pass engers of a ride vehicle are generally limited when the ride vehicle follows a p re-determined, fixed path.
