According to news reporting out of King Abdullah Univers ity of Science and Technology (KAUST) by NewsRx editors, research stated, “ABSTR ACT: Seismic hazards analysis relies on accurate estimation of expected ground m otions for potential future earthquakes. However, obtaining realistic and robust ground-motion estimates for specific combinations of earthquake magnitudes, sou rce-to-site distances, and site conditions is still challenging due to the limit ed empirical data.”
