According to news reporting originating in Dalian, People’s Republic of China , by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “The localization accuracy of Acoustic Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (ASLAM) often suffers from environmental noise and room reverberation. To solve this problem, an ASLAM method based on di stributed extended Kalman filter is proposed.” Funders for this research include National Natural Science Foundation of China ( NSFC), National High Technology Research and Development Program of China, Natur al Science Foundation of Liaoning Province, Fundamental Research Fund for the Ce ntral Uni-versities of China.
