A novel Digital Soil CoreTM (DSC) Probe was engineered that c ontains seven sensors, each of a distinct modality, including sleeve friction, t ip force, dielectric permittivity, electrical resistivity, soil imagery, acousti cs, and visible and near-infrared spectroscopy.”
