According to news reporting originating from Blacksburg , Virginia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled systems are becoming capable and widespread. The use of AI in criti cal system functions warrants a review of existing test and evaluation (T& E) tools, methods, processes, infrastructure, and workforce to ensure they are s uited to support adequate evaluation of the operational performance of such syst ems.” Funders for this research include United States Department of Defense, Director, Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E) through the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (ASD (RE) ).
