As different logging tools have different capabilitie s, some applications are better suited for one log provider, while others are be tter suited for another provider. In existing product architectures, using a spe cific log management platform by an application may restrict the application to the specific log management platform, rendering it difficult to switch to a diff erent log management platform without losing data and without making code modifi cations that impede the performance of the application.”
