According to news originating from Shenzhen, People’s Republic o f China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “To develop and validate a m achine learning (ML) model based on high-frequency ultrasound (HFUS) images with the aim to identify the functional status of parathyroid glands (PTGs) in secon dary hyper-parathyroidism (SHPT) patients. This retrospective study enrolled 60 SHPT patients (27 female, 33 male; mean age: 51.2 years) with 184 PTGs detected from February 2016 to June 2022.” Financial supporters for this research include National Natural Science Foundati on of China (NSFC), National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Guangzh ou Municipal Science and Technology Program.
