Reports on Robotics Findings from Zhejiang University of Technology Provide New Insights (Fixed Time Sliding Mode Control for Disturbed Robotic Manipulator)

Abstract

According to news reporting originating from Hangzhou, Pe ople’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “In this st udy, a new fixed-time sliding mode control approach for trajectory tracking cont rol of robotic manipulator systems is devised, which provides fixed-time converg ence, robust stabilization, and high precision. A novel fixed-time non-singular fast terminal sliding mode surface (FNFTSMS) with fixedtime convergence is prov ided, and with settling time independent of the initial condition of the system and can be pre-determined using design parameters.”
