Currently, operation of earth moving vehicles is very expensive as each vehicl e requires a manual operator be available and present during the entire process to control the earth moving vehicle. Further, implementing autonomous control of an earth moving vehicle presents other challenges because of changeable conditi ons on many work sites and the complexity and variety of earth moving vehicle mo dels.
