According to news reporting from Newcastle Uni versity by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Multimorbid patients are at hig her risk of hospital readmission due to the complex nature of their conditions. Identifying those who may be at particularly high risk would allow us to interve ne early and potentially delay or prevent such readmissions occurring, thus redu cing healthcare costs.”
