According to news reporting originating in Torun, Poland, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Here, we demonstrate mid-field H-1 NMR spe ctroscopy combined with chemometrics to be powerful in the classification and au thentication of motor oils (MOs). The H-1 NMR data were processed with a new alg orithm for simultaneous phase and baseline correction, which, for crowded spectr a such as those of the refinery products, allowed for more accurate estimation o f phase parameters than other literature approaches tested.”
