Abstract

According to news originating from Dhaka, Bangladesh, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Sarcasm detection research in the Bengali lang uage so far can be considered to be narrow due to the unavailability of resource s. In this paper, we introduce a large-scale self-annotated Bengali corpus for s arcasm detection research problem in the Bengali language named ‘Ben-Sarc’ conta ining 25,636 comments, manually collected from different public Facebook pages a nd evaluated by external evaluators.”
