Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “Product reviews can influence other potential consumers of pr oducts. As such, potential consumers oftentimes read product reviews to gain a b etter understanding of a product of interest. Reading through all the reviews, h owever, can be a time consuming process, particularly for products that are asso ciated with an extensive amount of reviews. Further, reviewing numerous product reviews can unnecessarily consume computing resources. In an effort to facilitat e a more efficient review process, in some conventional implementations, a summa ry of reviews may be provided for a particular product. In such conventional imp lementations, the summary of reviews is generally manually generated. In particu lar, oftentimes, editorial staff may download the product (e.g., application), u tilize the product, and review the product. In addition to the time consumed to manually generate a summary of reviews, computing resources are unnecessarily co nsumed. For instance, downloading and using the product (e.g., application, game ,movie, website, or the like) for the purposes of preparing a summary review of the product unnecessarily consumes computing resources.”
