The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied by the inventors: “When conducting a patent search, it is hard to find one prior art reference that discloses the entire patent application claim (or issued claim in a patent). The first prior art reference found is the primar y reference. Therefore, the Patent Examiner or patent searcher needs to subseque ntly search for a secondary reference to find any limitations not disclosed in t he primary reference. It takes additional time to look for a secondary reference . Also, the current process of conducting a patent search presents problems and limitations to finding the most relevant prior art.”
