Abstract

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News – New study results on agricultural robo ts have been published. According to newsoriginating from Fuzhou, People’s Repu blic of China, by NewsRx editors, the research stated, “To solvethe problem of the lack of physical properties of pedicels and the changing pattern for designi ng the end-effector of tomato harvesting robot and different harvesting modes, r esearch was conducted on thephysical properties of tomato pedicels and their ch ange patterns. Using a Universal TA texture analyzer,tensile, three-point bendi ng, and shearing tests were performed on tomato pedicels in the early firm-ripening stage.”Financial supporters for this research include Guiding Project of The Fujian Pro vincial Departmentof Science And Technology; Open Foundation of Fujian Key Labo ratory of Green Intelligent Drive AndTransmission For Mobile Machinery; Fujian Agriculture And Forestry University.
