Abstract

According to news reporting from Nanjing, People’s Repu blic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Shear strength and ducti le deformation capacity of monolithic exterior shear keys play important roles o n the seismic behavior of highway bridges. Improving the ductility of the shear key through reasonable design could effectively restrict superstructure displace ment and minimize damage to pier columns.”
