According to news reporting out of Hunan, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “The successful synthesis of mon olayer silicon carbide (SiC) has attracted extensive research interest. To broad en its applications in photocatalysis and ultraviolet detection, we have designe d over 4900 new materials through surface functionalization of SiC.”
