Whether it be inexpensive purch ases such as food delivery, or expensive purchases such as electronics, customer s can easily make purchases using a mobile device or a computer. This greatly be nefits consumers, as the purchasing processing is easy and seamless. This also g reatly benefits merchants, as users can more easily make impulse purchases, whic h would otherwise not be possible. However, in certain circumstances, the abilit y to easily make a purchase can be detrimental. For example, if a customer is so mehow impaired (e.g., consumed too much alcohol, has done drugs, has a mental di sorder, or has some other mental impairment), the customer may be more likely to make purchases that they will regret when they are no longer impaired. However, since purchasing has become so easy, there is currently no easy and convenient way to prevent customers from making purchases while in an impaired state.
