Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “ “Field of the Invention “The present invention relates to a fastening apparatus and a fastening method. “Background “In the manufacture of products such as a battery pack of electric automobiles, automation of processes is required. One of the processes that require automatio n is a fastening process of a bolt in which a fastening means such as a bolt or a screw is inserted into a fastening hole on a work piece and is fastened. “An example of automation of the fastening process is described in, for example, Japanese Unexamined Patent Application, First Publication No. 2012-20345. Japan ese Unexamined Patent Application, First Publication No. 2012-20345 discloses a process of searching a position of a fastening hole in a wide range by calculati ng a coordinate such that a movement trajectory of a fastening component becomes a spiral trajectory.”
