Acco rding to news reporting originating from Bologna, Italy, by NewsRx correspondent s, research stated, “The aim of the study was to compare the perioperative outco mes of patients affected by inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who underwent surge ry performed through laparoscopy or using the Medtronic Hugo™ RAS. This is a ret rospective study from a prospectively maintained database comparing laparoscopic vs. robotic-assisted surgery for IBD from 01/11/2017 to 15/04/2024.”
