University of Science and Technology Beijing Researchers Publish Findings in Rob otics (Path tracking of car-like robots based on feed-forward model predictive control)

According to news reporting out of Beijing, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Car-like robots are mobile robots commonl y used in manufacturing and warehousing. This type of robot has a mechanical str ucture similar to that of an unmanned vehicle, which uses the front wheels as st eering structures. However, this type of robot has characteristics that signific antly influence path tracking control relative to unmanned vehicles, such as a l arger magnitude of reference path curvature, a smaller range of system constrain ts, and a lower degree of part standardization.”
