Abstract

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Research findings on Support Vector Ma chines are discussed in a new report. According to news reporting out of Guangdo ng, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “High-dimens ional small sample size data, which may lead to singularity in computation, are becoming increasingly common in the field of pattern recognition. Moreover, it i s still an open problem how to extract the most suitable low-dimensional feature s for the support vector machine (SVM) and simultaneously avoid singularity so a s to enhance the SVM’s performance.”
