The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background information supplied by the inventors: “With the proliferation of available image captu re devices, electronic images have been a valuable tool in collision loss assess ment, often resulting in large sets of image files related to a particular colli sion event. For example, image file may include captured information related to the damaged vehicle(s), parties, third-parties, such as bystanders or police, and repair process. Often, attempts are made to associate all of this information with a resulting electronic claim for the related loss. Because of the large num ber of images, it is critical to associate only relevant or those images which m ost accurately reflect the collision event.
