By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Investigators discuss new findings in robotics. According to news reporting out of Dalian, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “The underwater snake robot is a new type of bio-inspired unmanned underwater vehicle. Because snake robots are made of rig id materials, the utilization of articulated joints in a snake robot reduces the degrees of freedom, increases the probability of collision, and ultimately lead s to damage of these rigid materials in the complex underwater environment. To r esolve such an inevitable issue, this work proposes an innovative approach to ta ilor the structural composition of the robot, which consists of four different m odules: the head module, control module, thruster module, and soft joint module. ”
