According to news originating from Melbourne, Australia, by NewsR x correspondents, research stated, “Laparoscopic robot-assisted colorectal surge ry can pose significant haemodynamic challenges for patients with severe aortic regurgitation. The increased afterload caused by pneumoperitoneum and aortic com pression, along with concurrent factors like hypercarbia, Trendelenburg positioning and ventilatory impairment, can worsen aortic regurgitation, leading to myoc ardial ischaemia and heart failure.”
