According to news reporting out of To ronto, Canada, by NewsRx editors, research stated, "To phenotype SLE based on sy mptom burden (disease damage, system involvement and patient reported outcomes), with a specific focus on objective and subjective cognitive function. SLE patie nts ages 18-65 years underwent objective cognitive assessment using the ACR Neur opsychological Battery (ACR-NB) and data were collected on demographic and clini cal variables, disease burden/activity, health-related quality of life (HRQoL), depression, anxiety, fatigue and perceived cognitive deficits." Funders for this research include Arthritis Society of Canada, Canadian Institut es of Health Research (CIHR), Physician's Services Incorporated, Province of Ont ario Early Research Award, Lupus Research Alliance.
