According to news reporting out of the Tengzhou Central People 's Hospital by NewsRx editors, research stated, "This study aimed to preliminari ly develop machine learning (ML) models capable of predicting the risk of device -associated infection and 30-day outcomes following invasive device procedures i n intensive care unit (ICU) patients. The study utilized data from 8574 ICU pati ents who underwent invasive procedures, sourced from the Medical Information Mar t for Intensive Care (MIMIC)-IV version 2.2 database." Funders for this research include National Institution of Hospital Administratio n's Infection Prevention And Control Research Project in Medical Institutions in China.
