According to news reportingout of Budapest, Hungary, by NewsRx editors, research stated, "This study explores the intersection of personality, attention and task performance in traditional 2D and immersive virtual r eality (VR) environments."Funders for this research include European Union.Our news editors obtained a quote from the research from ELTE Eotvos Lorand Univ ersity: "A visualsearch task was developed that required participants to find a nomalous images embedded in normalbackground images in 3D space. Experiments we re conducted with 30 subjects who performed the taskin 2D and VR environments w hile their eye movements were tracked. Following an exploratory correlationanal ysis, we applied machine learning techniques to investigate the predictive power of gaze features onhuman data derived from different data collection methods. Our proposed methodology consists of apipeline of steps for extracting fixation and saccade features from raw gaze data and training machinelearning models to classify the Big Five personality traits and attention-related processing speed /accuracylevels computed from the Group Bourdon test."
