By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News-Fresh data on Robotics - Robotics and Automation are presented in a new report.According to news reporting originatin g from Poznan, Poland, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated,"The letter pr esents a novel solution to determine exposure and threshold values for cameras i n motioncapture systems without excessive interaction with the user. The soluti on is based on the divide andconquer method, which ensures a fast and efficient search of the values."Financial support for this research came from Poznan University of Technology. Our news editors obtained a quote from the research from the Poznan University o f Technology, "As theresults have shown, users without specialist knowledge can significantly improve the tracking capabilitiesof the motion capture system, e specially for smaller passive markers. The tests have proved that forspherical markers with a diameter of 7.9 mm, the full time tracking capabilities can be en sured based onthe settings determined with the proposed method, what is difficu lt to achieve with the default settings. Moreover, the cameras utilisation can b e increased, which should have a positive effect on the overalltracking quality . This makes it possible to use smaller and lighter-weight markers, which is des irable forsmall flying units with payload capacity of a few grams only. The pri mary tests were performed in thelaboratory equipped with 12 OptiTrack Prime(x) 13W cameras. The dedicated programming interfaces(Motive API and Camera SDK) we re used. The validation tests included a DJI Tello EDU unit with fourmarkers at tached."
