By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News-New research on Drugs and Therapies-Theranostics is the subject of a report. According to news originating from St. Petersburg, Russia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, "Functional dyes that are capable of both bright fluorescence and efficient singlet oxygen genera tion are crucial for theranostic techniques, which integrate fluorescence imagin g and photodynamic therapy (PDT). The development of new functional dyes for the ranostics is often costly and time-consuming due to laborious synthesis and post -synthetic screening of large libraries of compounds." Financial support for this research came from Science Foundation Ireland.
