2024 OCT 08 (NewsRx)-By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News-Current study results on artificial intelligence have been published. According to news originating from Zhengzhou, People's Repu blic of China, by NewsRx editors, the research stated, "The primary challenge in the operation of steel deck pavement systems lies in the inspection and assessm ent of their condition." Our news correspondents obtained a quote from the research from Zhengzhou Univer sity: "Traditionally, manual inspection methods are employed. However, these app roaches are not only time-consuming and labor-intensive but also prone to human error. As a result, integrating data-driven machine learning technologies into t he evaluation of pavement systems presents a significant advantage in addressing these issues. This study proposes a decision-making tool for estimating the con dition levels of steel bridge deck pavement systems by employing classification techniques. To address the issue of class imbalance in the dataset, the SMOTE al gorithm is utilized."
