Researchers detail new data in Robotic s. According to news reporting originating in Hangzhou, People's Republic of Chi na, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, "Soft robot incarnates its unique ad vantages in deep-sea exploration, but grapples with high hydrostatic pressure's unpredictable impact on its mechanical performances. In our previous work, a sel f-powered soft robot showed excellent work performance in the Mariana Trench at a depth of 11 000 m, yet experienced notable degradation in deforming capability ." Financial supporters for this research include National Natural Science Foundati on of China (NSFC), National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Laoshan laboratory, Pioneer' R&D Program of Zhejiang, Natural Science Foun dation of Zhejiang Province.
