According to news reporting originatingin Stuttgart, Germany, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Recent advances in AutomatedFiber Placement (AF P) and Filament Winding (FM) are driving steady improvements in technological understanding, enabling the production of more precise, cost- and materialefficien t layups that pave the wayfor new applications. Evolving from automated Tape La ying Technology (ATL), AFP is a technology thatnot only mimics the manual layin g process but also allows tailored fiber and tow alignment to deliver loadoptimized patterns, stacking sequences and part structures leading to improved mechan ical performanceand significant waste reduction.”
