According to news reportingout of Toronto, Canada, by NewsRx e ditors, research stated, “The study provides large-scale descriptiveevidence on the timing and nature of corporate financial tweeting. Using an unsupervised ma chine learningapproach to analyze 24 million tweets posted by S&P 1500 firms from 2012 to 2020, we find that firmsare more likely to tweet financ ial information around significantly negative or positive news events, suchas e arnings announcements and the filing of financial statements.”
