According to news originatingfrom Victoria, Australia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Probabilistic forecasts derivedfro m ensemble prediction systems (EPSs) have become the standard basis for many pro ducts and servicesproduced by modern operational forecasting centers. However, statistical postprocessing is generallyrequired to ensure forecasts have the de sired properties expected for probability-based outputs.”
