Abstract

According to news originating fromNaples, Italy, by NewsRx correspo ndents, research stated, “Wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) isan additive manufacturing process for building large-sized metal components using gas metal arc weldingtechnology. Detecting defects during deposition is critical for halt ing production of low-quality components,thereby reducing waste and associated costs, and allowing timely process adjustments.”
