According tonews reporting out of Munich, Germany, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Reduced bone density isrecognized as a pr edictor for potential complications in reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA). Whil e humeraland glenoid planning based on preoperative computed tomography (CT) sc ans assist in implant selectionand position, reproducible methods for quantifyi ng the patients’ bone density are currently not available.”
