Abstract

The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied bythe inventors: “The present invention relates to a computer-imp lemented method for behavior planningfor a first participant in a traffic scene , in which a predicted behavior of at least one further participant inthe traff ic scene is taken into account, specifically depending on the epistemic uncertai nty of the predictedbehavior. The behavior of the further participant is predic ted at regular time intervals, in each case for a prediction interval of a speci fied length, wherein each prediction interval comprises a specified number ofco nsecutive prediction steps.
