News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors:“Generative artificial intelligence (AI) is ushering in a p aradigm shift regarding how users create content.Before the advent of generativ e AI, a user would manually create content from scratch, beginning with ablank page and being in full control of the creative process. After the advent of gene rative AI, however,the user no longer begins with a blank page and is no longer in full control of the creative process. Instead,the user feeds raw source mat erial into a prompt box of a generative AI model, and the generative AImodel sy nthesizes content based on that raw source material. In order to achieve whateve r specific content is envisioned or desired by the user, the user might iterate with the generative AI model, inputtingprogressively updated or edited raw sour ce materials until the specific content that is desired is obtained.
