Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Servo-hydraulic material testing machines (also sometimes kno wn as structural tests machines) are usedto test the physical characteristics o f a material sample by utilising a hydraulic actuator to apply a testforce to t he material sample. The hydraulic actuator is driven by a hydraulic power unit w hich is typicallyarranged to provide pressurised hydraulic fluid to the materia l testing machine.
